Nido Student Wins ‘Operator Of The Year’ At The Student Accommodation Awards

Nido Student is delighted to have won the ‘Operator of the Year’ award at the Student Accommodation Awards.

The Student Accommodation Awards are organised by Property Week, the leading magazine in the commercial and residential property market for over 20 years. The awards cover 11 different categories within the sector and are judged by a select group of industry experts consisting of representatives from the property, architecture, university, operational, and not-for profit worlds.

This year, Nido Student were also shortlisted for the ‘Unsung Hero’ award. Annie Lawton, the Nido The Walls House Manager, was nominated as unsung hero for her hard work and dedication to the Nido residents of Southampton.

The award ceremony took place at the Intercontinental Hotel in London and was attended by hundreds of industry peers. It was a great honour for Nido Student to be nominated and even more, to win the ‘Operator of the Year’ award. Brian Welsh, the CEO of Nido Student, collected the award on behalf of the whole team.

CEO Brian Welsh said, “We are extremely proud to have been recognised for our commitment to continuous improvement and service to our student customers and look forward to continuing to lead the industry into 2019.”
