The Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (UAL) is the oldest private University in the country. The university was created in 1985 and offers 12 undergraduate courses, 8 masters degrees and 5 doctoral degrees.
UAL participates in international mobility programmes for students and teachers through the Erasmus programme, and protocols with universities outside Europe, with particular emphasis on Brazil.
UAL is only 10 minutes by bike from Nido Campo Pequeno.
