The neighbourhood

At Nido, we ensure you are never far away from the excitement of city life. We want you to be able to experience all the local amenities and attractions Lisbon can offer you as a student or young professional from exploring the culture and heritage to inspire studies, to winding down and enjoying a cup of coffee, tasty meal or enjoying a casual cocktail in the city centre. Keep up to date with our blog for all the local events!

Affair Restaurant & Bar

A traditional Portuguese cuisine restaurant in Lisbon. The dishes provide a mix of traditional Portuguese flavours with Mediterranean touches. The highlight is the squid ink pasta and the grilled pork with shrimp.

Homie´s

At Homie's it's difficult to choose just one corner. There's a shop with ecological products, vegetarian food and even a games area. A real "welcome home" concept combined with a sustainable lifestyle.

Time Out Market

Fancy a pizza, hamburgers or trying some Portuguese delicacies? The TimeOut market gathers 26 mini restaurants and 8 bars, where you will find a wide range of gastronomic options. It is the ideal place to have a great meal.

National Tile Museum

The National Tile Museum is undoubtedly one of Lisbon's most iconic museums and a national treasure. Here you will find one of the first pieces introduced to Portugal by the Arabs and learn about tile production in Lisbon in the 16th century.

Praça do Comércio

Praça do Comércio is one of Lisbon's most emblematic places and one of the largest squares in Europe. You can enjoy the exhibitions in the Pátio da Galé, relax on the terraces and visit the Arco da Rua Augusta, where you will be fascinated by the view of the Tagus River.

São Jorge Castle

Get your legs ready to climb the alleyways towards São Jorge Castle. All the effort is rewarded by the best view in the city, and we're not making this up. The Moorish fortress, with over ten towers and an archaeological museum, boasts one of the most incredible views in Lisbon, as well as a programme of free music and theatre.

Feira da Ladra

Here you can find everything you need, from decorative objects to books, second-hand clothes, furniture, or even glasses. Feira da Ladra is a Lisbon classic that never goes out of fashion and still has some low price finds.

Rosanamar

The fish here is really fresh. There is always sea bream, sea bass, grouper, salmon, tuna, national squid, octopus, among many others - and they deliver straight to your home to help the busiest of people.

Pop the wine

Fancy a glass of wine with your art? Pop the wine is not just a place where you can drink and chat. Here, you can also buy wonderful works of art. Wine tastings (all organic) can be done during the art auctions or vice versa.

Lux Frágil

If you're a fan of electronic music, we're sure you won't want to miss the busy nights at Lux Frágil. The club is in an old industrial warehouse with three floors and features a set of national and international DJs.

Pink Street

Pink Street is an unmissable stop on Lisbon's nightlife scene and is considered one of the New York Times' 12 favourite European streets - and ours too. This corner of the city is full of bars, clubs and esplanades. The ideal place to have a few drinks with friends.

Ferroviário

Cocktails and meals served on a tropical riverside terrace with an incredible view of the blue Tagus. Every Saturday and Sunday there is "brunch in the clouds", with a delicious menu that is (even more) instagrammable than the space. We have no doubt that "coffee in the clouds" was the missing photo for your feed.
