What's nearby

One of the biggest perks of living on campus is that you don’t need public transportation to get around, because everything is within walking distance.

The Nido Estoril residence is located in the Portuguese Tourism residence building near the Estoril Campus, where the Estoril School of Hotel and Tourism and the Estoril College of Hotel and Tourism are located.

Keep up to date with our blog for all the local events!

Paco Bigotes

The tacos here are served in portions of two and with an instruction book on the table indicating how you should eat them - getting your hands dirty here is always for a good reason. There are also botanas to share, ceviches, tostadas and refreshing mango margaritas. An authentic Mexican restaurant!

Água da Cascata

There's a bit of everything here, as long as it is healthy. You can enjoy vegan, vegetarian and sushi food. The tatakis, nigiris, vegetarian samosas, poké bowls and acai bowls feature prominently on the menu.

Girassol Pastry Shop

Here you will find the best of an authentic Portuguese café: from coffee to snacks. The Hungarian, Garibaldi and Mil Folhas cakes are some of the pastry specialities. All at affordable prices.

Praia das Moitas

Praia das Moitas is one of the most frequented beaches in Estoril and you can see why. The great attraction of the beach is the Alberto Romano ocean pool, where the water is always warmer.

Parque das Gerações

This skate park has street lanes, park & bowl, sea views, a café and even a skate shop. At the Parque das Gerações there are great athletes, but also beginners practicing how to balance on their skateboards.

Museum of Portuguese Music

Adufes, Portuguese mandolin, harmonium, viola micaelense... At the Museum of Portuguese Music you'll find an extensive list of Portuguese instruments you've probably never heard of. There is also a beautiful garden, free to enter.

Cura

Cura is a small concept store but with various minimalist brands, for men and women. There is Komono, Stutterheim, Clae, +351, Cinco, Comodoro, Matt&Nat and Ucon Acrobatics.

Estoril Craft Fair

The Estoril Craft Fair brings together more than 300 artisans from all over the country. There are Portuguese handicrafts and typical gastronomy, as well as a daily programme. All this to visit between the months of July and September.

Glood

It looks more like a neighbourhood grocery store, but when you walk into Glood you discover a world of foreign-labelled treats, spices and drinks. And if you don't find what you're looking for, you can always order in.

The Sinnerman Speakeasy

The Sinnerman Speakeasy boasts a wine list of over 400 bottles, some of which are "unique in Portugal and Europe". Here you can try cocktails with lychee syrup, wasabi powder, banana liqueur, among others.

Tamariz Summer Club

Summer nights are always fun with the Tamariz Summer Club programme. You can choose between three spaces: restaurant lounge and disco. At the bar you will find signature cocktails, classics, and cool drinks.

Casino Estoril

Casino Estoril is a grandiose gaming and leisure complex, the largest casino in Europe. It hosts several shows throughout the year, as well as some charity events.
